How to get to
Puerto Río Tranquilo?

You can take a flight from Santiago or Puerto Montt, towards Balmaceda.

From Coyhaique or Balmaceda you travel only by land through the Carretera Austral.

From Coyhaique it is 218 km (4 and a half hours of travel) and from Balmaceda (4 hours of travel) of a wonderful road for you to enjoy. The options are:

By vehicle

You can rent at the Airport
or in the city of Coyhaique

By bus

The buses leave once a day,
usually in the mornings,
from Coyhaique to Puerto Tranquilo

Can i get by my own vehicle
to the jetty in
Explorers Bay?

From Puerto Río Tranquilo to Bahía Exploradores (boarding area) it is 90km by land, this journey can be done in your own vehicle following our van and stopping next to us at the tourist attractions to enjoy the guide, or you can include the transportation service with an additional cost ($ 20,000 per person).

Recommendations

Stay at least two nights in Puerto Río Tranquilo for the tour, since the presentation time is at 6.55 am and the return at 8 pm.
